Annette McLaughlin                                                         Suggestion by David Hawthorn (email address supplied)I think this site is a good idea. You could be more specific and concrete about your dream as I feel it may inspire others to open up and it could perhaps turn into something where people can  support and offer advice to one another. David Hawthorn                                                          Comment by Susanna Support and advice - anyone else up for that?

Comment by Libramoon (email address supplied)Aquarian Dreams Open your third eye And your fourth And your fifth Make a wish And wrap it up in bubblegum Stick it to your bedpost To dream itself awake Into your dream That is your life. There are wishes made of water Waving out to sea Caught up in grievery Cat-tails weeping Weaving eerie reverie Into the evening Into the night All through those dreamy, Unaware of the hours days. There are prophetic dreams. They haunt or Creep upon conscious walls. Tell all is not As simple as it seems. There are reasons, portents, allies. There are dreams That wishes would simply die for. They take us out of bounds Into faery realms and more. Sprinkling gold spun out of Shining love and merriment. Yes! The very mint That stamps us sold, That fulfills our greatest hopes, Flies us to heights above The most benign of clouds, Sets our spirits free. There are dreams That bind Define identities Expose deformities Deny extremities Create barriers and rifts Look to differences As definitions Defend what they define. There are dreams, There are dramas, There are visions. Tell me yours, I'll tell you mine.

As children we do learn to suppress our naturalness for the sake of conforming to parental and societal values and cultural norms. Our inner light consequently gets covered over by the conditioning which we are all subjected to. And yes we then have to dig deep to rediscover that which had been forgotten. Realizing this though is half the battle, happy digging and thank you for your poem I'm sure many people will be find it helpful.

Wh What are the elements of "The Good Life"?
Anyone want to dream about it online? Holding nothing back - anything is possible!
That is a really sussed (sustainable) life?

            For me:
-having a garden full of fresh tasty food - for as much of the year as possible - and enough to share...
            -having friends within walking distance
-providing one's own electrical power. Kathleen

This is a post from a friend (Hernan Hormillosa) who dreams that, someday, everyone marches behind the banner of love...not war... it starts with the mind - a paradigm shift....that all conflicts can be resolved through dialogue, not bombs and bullets.

Hello, I have looked at many sites but have not come across one that provides such original and inspiring music, I didn't realize there was such talent out there, thanks for this, what great content. I have added you to my bookmarks.

Comment by Susanna in response to Vanda Morgan

Thank you very much for your kind words Vanda, things do seem to be developing nicely. I particularly like your remark "I didn't realize there was such talent out there" that's just it a lot of people don't realize the amount of amazing talent out there. The other day it occured to me great talent never went away the focus just shifted. There are some really exciting artists doing great things and I am passionate about doing my bit to help put the focus back on them.

I saw your articles on Multi-Hyphenate's website and thought I would have a look at your website as I really liked what you
had written for MH. I conclude that music has a great effect on people and very often the tone of the music can influence attitudes and behaviours. If people are feeling down or need motivating for a big pysical effort like a sportsman waiting to compete then try listening to some fast upbeat music which gets the adrenalin flowing. If you are feeling a bit hyper active or stressed due to trying to fit too many things in at once then a slower quieter music such as some Japanse Water Music will be much more beneficial as will lighten the mood and reduce stress levels by slowing the mind down. Never underestimate the power music has to heal and motivate. Music can also be a friend to the lonely by making it appear there are other people in the room when it is on.If you dont believe me the next time you feel some strong emotion try some music as I suggest and see if it works for you and if it changes or enhances how you feel. Road to Fort Worth - I loved your essay on the "about" page on the dreams website. Letting go doesn't mean abandoning my dream, but letting it progress naturally. I want my voice to be heard, but if I push it, my voice will sound high pitched and squeaky. Thank you so much Susanna for your words of wisdom. Mike.

It's so lovely to find people who believe so strongly in the importance of people's art and creativity. In such a selfless way, and in such a positive and understanding manner. True artist's have a drive that transcends any material neccessities - and your page not only reflects that it highlights it in such a kind way, much like your website (http://www.dreamsareforliving.com/) - So it's a pleasure to share it and promote it :-)
